The seven WuC projects are spread geographically
throughout England. The North West region
is host to four of the projects, three of
which are based in urban areas currently
undergoing government funded regeneration
activity - Blackburn,
East Manchester
and Kensington in Liverpool.
The remaining North West project in Alston
is significantly rural and a priority area
for ESF funding.
In Yorkshire and Humberside, the Pit2Net
project is based in Brampton, Rotherham
a former coal industry area, while in
the East of England, the project is based
in rural Framlingham, Suffolk.
In London, the
project is based in inner city Newham.
